Have we hit the Tipping Point for HEVs and BEVs?
I have been given the opportunity to meet some of the world’s most powerful regulators over recent weeks and we are all singing off the same song sheet now. The TWIKE's actually better than I expected - see for yourself
Recently I've had a few requests to add some electric cars to my highly popular EV Comparison Guide, so here I go with the TWIKE and I have to say it's actually got a lot more to it than I expected. Even the strange Fred Flintstone pedalling feature is quite appealing and you can't really sniff at a 2-hour charging time.
Alas, I've lost the names of the other EV models that people want me to add to the comparison guide, so if you can spot any that are missing, please let me know and I'll put them in. But they must be real electric cars - no hybrids, please.
The electric motorcycle you can wear
The electric 3-wheeled motorcycle you can wear is apparently worn as an exo-skeleton with seven artificial vertebra (well, they would hardly be real), 36 controlling pneumatic muscles and two linear actuators. It's also got a pneumatically attached helmet. Lovely - what happens if you fall off? Does your head stay with the bike because it's safer??
Survey - Is there a demand for electric vehicles
The survey is located at http://demand4ev.com It is composed of 20 multiple-choice questions and takes roughly 3 minutes to complete.
Super light electric sports car from NICE car company

As reported on Autobloggreen NICE's Super Light Electric Sport Car is a concept vehicle that embodies much of the technology that NICE believes will help propel electric-powered cars to the forefront.
