Who stole the electric car?

I received this message from feature film director Robert Dastioli, so I thought I'd pass it on here.

"I wanted to alert you to a feature film that I am directing called "Who Stole the Electric Car?" The movie is a comedy about a guy who steals a prototype electric car in 1995, and drives it cross country to win back his environmentalist girlfriend. Using fictional representations of General Motors and their prototype EV-1, the movie showcases the killing of the electric car by corporate America. The film focuses on a man's inability to look past himself, and the society around him that is too consumed by its own problems to concentrate on human progress. We've started shooting on a really tight budget, and we're trying to get the word out any place we can. There's a teaser trailer available here and we are accepting PayPal donations at that same link (every little bit helps). For any donation of $15 or more, we are giving away "Earth Day 95" t-shirts. Thanks for your time."

I can't help thinking that someone's done this theme already, Robert, but best of luck anyway.
