Now this is what I call news.
Some extremely bright guys in San Francisco who are "only talking to venture capitalists these days" have seriously brought out an inflatable electric car AND they're planning to price it from below $3,000 in some markets. That's less than the cost of the battery in most other EVs.
Nissan to unveil the Mixim 3 seater B-EV Concept at Frankfurt 2007
The strikingly designed 3 seater Mixim B-EV Concept Car from Nissan is to be revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show, which runs 13- 23 September 2007. The unusual seating configuration sits the driver ahead of the two passenger seats and there is a fourth seat set behind the driving position designed for occasional use. This concept is designed to appeal to a younger audience who are familiar with digital gaming.
Lightning is definitely EV eye candy
Ahhhh, an EV eye candy moment again, this time from the UK's Lightning Car Company. Their new all-electric sports car is a bit of a design mash-up with nods to the E-type Jag, the TVR and the Marcos all struggling for supremacy, but it's undeniably quite a glamourpuss. Just as well with a proposed price tag of £150,000.
