Renault's £6K EV - is it just a fancy scooter?
At last ... a concept car that's made it into production. While the reviewer at Car magazine refers to Renault's 2009 concept EV having much more funky features, the production version of the Twizy at the 2010 Paris Motor Show gets his thumbs-up all the same. The Renault Twizy is a tandem style 2-seater that will go on sale in the UK in early 2012 for around £6,000.

Kia's funky purple electric concept car
All of a sudden four-seaters are so last year and yet another automaker is about to dazzle us with a stunning 3-seater electric car. This time it's Kia that has cooked up the POP, a cute concept car that will first meet its public at the 2010 Paris Motor Show on 30 September. Kia isn't saying much about the car at this stage, but the design is sure to turn heads
